Students that “take a class” are seeking to take a class (or a few) at the Iowa Real Estate School for personal interest or professional growth or to meet the mandatory renewal requirements for their Salesperson license per the State of Iowa. These students are not planning on obtaining a new salesperson license.

Obtain Your Iowa Salesperson Real Estate License in Nine Simple Steps

Real Estate Commission (IREC) requires the following live instruction courses: 60-hour Real Estate Principals and Practices course, 12 hours of Buying Practices, 12 hours of Listing Practices, and 12 hours of Developing Professionalism and Ethical Practices to meet Salesperson by Exam requirements. IRES is a registered provider and courses, and course formats are IREC approved.

Mandatories

Law Update

Ethics

Real Estate Commission (IREC) requires 8 hours Law Update and 4 hours Ethics, and these must be done within the three years of a renewal cycle.

IRES is a registered provider and courses, and course formats are IREC approved.

Electives
